About VetExpert

Vet Expert's Hypoallergenic Ultra supports Pet Owners and Vets in determining the cause of AFRs and nutrient intolerances. Diets containing hydrolysed animal protein are the gold standard when an elimination diet is required. Animal protein spread out into single amino-acids and peptides minimises the risk of an adverse food reaction. This complete products contains:

  • high quality ingredients of animal origin
  • Monoprotein compositions
  • Gluten-free recipes.

Why Hypoallergenic Ultra?

Adverse Food Reactions (AFRs) usually occur as skin irritations or respiratory system reactions in pets. On average, over 19% of dermatological manifestations occur in dogs, with simultaneous occurrence within the digestive system in 15% of these cases.

Dietary Procedure in cases where pets exhibit signs of AFR's (Adverse Foor Reactions)

  • Step 1: Elimination of the potential allergen*/ not tolerated ingredient e.g. by introducing an appropriate diet for a period of 8 - 12 weeks.
  • Step 2: Confirmation of allergen*/not tolerated ingredient by employing provocation test and diet exclusion.
  • Step 3: Diet implementation without the aforementioned allergen*/not tolerated ingredient.

Note:

  • These are schemes recommended by Vet Expert. Nevertheless, the choice of implementing a proper procedure remains a veterinarian's decision.
  • *An allergen is usually a protein (glycoprotein) with a molecular weight of 10 to 70 kDa, resistant to temperature, acids or digestive enzymes that exists within a dog's diet.
